HOOSIER CATHOLIC WEEK
Hoosier Catholic Week 2019 (February 20-28) is a week to grow in community, prayer, and mission. Join us for one night or for all of the events.
Sarah Swafford will give the keynote talk on Wednesday, February 20 at 7 pm. Sarah is the founder of Emotional Virtue Ministries. She speaks internationally to people of all ages on a variety of topics such as: Emotional Virtue, Dating and Relationships, Modesty of Intentions, and Interior Confidence. She is a graduate of Benedictine College and has been involved in ministry for over ten years. For three years, Sarah worked as a Residence Hall Director at Benedictine College, taking care of 142 freshmen women. That amazing experience gave her a front row seat into the hearts of women and men transitioning from high school to college, giving her a deeper look into the struggles facing teens and young adults today. Sarah also works on Special Projects for Catholic Identity at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, where she resides with her wonderful husband, Dr. Andrew Swafford, and their children: Thomas, Fulton, Cate, and Kolbe. You can find more information about Sarah and Emotional Virtue Ministries at www.emotionalvirtue.com.
On Tuesday, February 26, the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist will lead our women's night at 7:00 pm to discuss Catholic femininity and beauty. They will also be on campus evangelizing Tuesday and available to chat with any woman interested in vocations or deepening her faith.
On Wednesday, February 27, Those Catholic Men will lead our men's night and discuss the call to greatness of all Catholic men as well as the Exodus 90 program.
On Thursday, February 28, Hoosier Catholic Week will come to an end with Magnify! (Prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, Praise & Worship, and Confession).
